Wed, July 1 – Arrival & Welcome
- Welcome: 5:00 pm (or earlier) Cocktails and Dinner at Kelly and Russ’s in Marblehead.
- Evening: Post-dinner neighborhood stroll and group games (LRC).
Thu, July 2 – Salem Exploration
- Breakfast: At Airbnb - fresh bagels delivered by the Hammers.
- Salem Tour: 4-hour guided culinary and history tour. (waiting on Karen to confirm time)
- Dinner: Finz (Salem Waterfront) at 7:00
Fri, July 3 – Revolutionary War 250 Experience
- Cycling: Depart 8:30 am. Riding the Minuteman Bikeway and Battle Road Trail in Lexington/Concord.
- Lunch: Concord Market picnic or Neillio’s Gourmet Kitchen (Vegan options).
- Dinner: 7:00pm Turner’s Seafood - classic New England fare
Sat, July 4 – Marblehead Independence Day & Salem Sunset Cruise
- Arts Festival: https://www.marbleheadfestival.org/
- 10:00 AM: Exhibits located at Abbot Hall, Town Hall, and various local gardens throughout Old Town.
- Crocker Park Concerts (60th Anniversary Lineup):
- 02:00 PM: Mike McGeown Band (Soulful R&B/Rock)
- Lunch: Pickup in town (local church sells lobster rolls or hotdog boxes/Barnacle)
- Dinner 4:00 Cookout (Marblehead or Salem)
- Schooner Sunset Sail: 7:30 pm Salem Landing. We cruise the harbor (7:45-10:00) and stay on the water for a front row seat of Salem (and/or Marblehead) fireworks.
Sun, July 5 – Brunch and North Shore Scenic/Relax Day
- Church: Optional 8:00 am Lighthouse service (outside, casual and brief)
- Sunday Brunch: Ledgers (Salem) at 10:00 AM – Refined brunch in a grand historic bank.
- Afternoon Options:
- Candelstick bowling (New England’s version of bowling)
- Gloucester’s Rocky Neck Art Colony and Hammond Castle Museum
- Rockport’s Bear Skin Neck
- Newburyport’s Custom House Maritime Museum, boutique shopping , Plum Island lighthouse and beaches
- Salem’s House of Seven Gables, Salem Witch House, Trolley Ride, Shopping
- Marblehead’s Deveraux Beach, paddle boarding, shopping
- Dinner Causual - classic New England Roast Beef Sandwiches and Onion Rings! (or seafood plates/salads)
Mon, July 6 – Boston History & North End
- Ferry: High-speed scenic arrival via the Salem Ferry (10:30 AM departure - 11:30 arrival).
- Lunch: Light lunch around Long Wharf or Quincy Market Place.
- History Tour: Private historian-led Freedom Trail walking Tour “The Full Revolution Story” or Private Duck boat tour
- Drinks: Rooftop cocktails (hopefully).
- Fine Dining: Refined regional Italian at Mamma Maria in the North End (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
